Enchanted Forest - All You Have To Do Is Believe

Today's card is all about Crafters Companion Sara Davies new Enchanted Forester Collection. 

I have used a square white card, Gemini, Square Diecut to cut the centre piece out of the papers and front of the card. I used the white card from that to do the section on the inside. I have used Crafters Companion Butterful Garden Patterned Paper, white card stock colouring all pieces using Spectrum Noir ink Pads Pale Fig, Damson Wine, leaves was used with coloured card stock, I have also sprayed the card with some Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridesecent. Then I have used Sara Davies Enchanted Forest Toadstool Garden Embossing Folder, Sentiments was from the Rubber Stamp Believe, various Leaves Diecuts, English Country Garden Grand Floral Diecuts, Glamour Flourishing Corner Diecut and some Gem Stones.

Floral Happy Birthday

Hello Folks,

Todays card was a challenge I set myself, stilling learning as its not quite as bright as I hoped but I have learnt what my mistake was. The challenge was to combine the techniques I have learnt this year from the Crafters Companion Subscription Boxes but also think outside of the box with regards to if you don't have some of the items such as a Create a Card Diecut. 

I have used a rectangle white card, white card stock for everything else, this allowed me to colour items how I wished them to be, this is where I made a bit of a mistake, should have coloured some more a little bit darker to make them pop out more. My first step was to cut out of the white card stock the first layer to go against, which I then used Sara Davies Floral Delight Ornate Trellis Diecut, this I then coloured with Spectrum Noir Ink Pad Pale Fig and glued to card. Next I cut another piece of white card stock a little bit smaller than the previous, took a Spellbinders Oval shaped Diecut and placed it in the middle, one cut, removed that piece and put the rest through the Gemini machine with Sara Davies Together Forever Vine Leaves Embossing Folder, glued this to the card. I then took another piece of white card stock white a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval Shaped Diecut, as a smaller Spellbinders Oval shaped Diecut, placed them one inside the other and through the machine, this allowed me to use just the outside of the scalloped oval diecut which I coloured with Pale Fig, would have be better if I have used the Damson Wine one. After I glued this to the centre area of the card, I diecut some sentiments and a shape for them to sit on I coloured with ink pads, glued it all together and onto the card. From here I cut and shaped many of Sara Davies English Country Garden Grand Floral Flowers, coloured them as well as shaped and then layered them adding a gem to the centre. I also diecut some leaves from the Crafters Companion Subscription Box 5, coloured in green with an ink pad, laid them all out on the card in several ways first to find the one I liked where as I then glued them in place and this completes my card which is also a lesson.

As it was the first time for using the corner diecut I was uncertain how it would turn out and I think next time I will try using a ink pad to make it stand out a little bit more.

With Love In Pink/Purple

I thought I would give this card another go but in a more pinker colour, it shows that even basic card stock it can still be rather pretty and with the sentiment used for many purposes.

I have used a basic white square card, Pink/Purple Papermania card stock, Bazzill Basics Fern card stock, White card stock, Sara Davies Background Diecut, Sara Davies Flowers Diecuts, Sara Davies Sentiments Diecuts & Rubber Stamps Set, Gemini, Collal Glue, Gem Stones, Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridescent and Leaves Diecuts.

Plum Jam Birthday Card

Hello Folks,

Today's card was a challenge I set myself, the idea was to make a card even though you possibly don't have a Create a Card Die that could also by design by used for others reason.

So for the challenge I have used a square white card, even though I do have Create a Card Dies I have just used a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval shaped Diecut to cut through the layers and into the card, then Spellbinders Oval Diecut for the inside sentiment piece to stand out. For the rest its all Crafters Companion from the flower diecuts to the leaves, I have also used their sentiments diecut and the Glamour Swilring Vines Embossing Corner. The Leaves I have used a green Bazzill Basics card stock, the flowers are all made just like the laying with Bazzill Basics Diamond card stock and I have then for the colour used Spectrum Noir Harmony Plum Ink Pad Plum Jam, finally added some gem stones.

There you have it a card that could be altered just by sentiments and perhaps colour without having a Create a Card Diecut.

This card is made using Crafters Companion Sara Davies Butterly Lullaby Collection, I have used a white rectangle card, Coredinations Tim Holtz Distress Victorian Velvet card stock, Bazzill Basics Diamond card stock, Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink Pad, Gemini, Butterfly Lullaby Filigree Frame Embossing, Butterflies Diecuts, added diecut sentiments, Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridescent and some gem stones, no matter the colour it always seems so pretty.

Create a Card with Quilling Flowers

Hello Folks,

Today's card is based around using a Create a Card Diecut and Quilling Flowers technique.  I have used a white square card and folded the front piece in half, a Create Card Diecut from the Crafters Companion Subscription Box No 4, Daisy Flowers Diecut, Stemiens Diecut, Leaves Diecuts, Gem Stones, Adhesive Tape, Collall Glue, Flower Buttons, Rubber Stamped Sentiments from the same box, Dark Blue Card stock, White Card stock to make the Pink Flowers but used Spectrum Noir Harmony Pink Tulip Ink Pad to make them pink also used this to distress the back ground of the card and some Sara Davies Vintage Romance Patterned Papers.

There you have a Create a card with Quilling Flowers.

Today's card is another of Crafters Companion Sara Davies Butterfly Lullaby Collection, I have used a white rectangle card, Coredinations Tim Holtz Distressed Victorian Velvet card stock, Bazzill Basics Diamond card stock, Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Pad Victorian Velvet, Sara Davies Butterfly Lullaby Daisy Trail Embossing Folder, Sara Davies Butterflies Diecuts, Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridescent, Gem Stones, Diecut sentiments. Yet again no matter the colours it always is a pretty card which could be used for almost anything with different sentiments.

Create A Card Floral Delight

Hello Folks,

Today's card is a half fold, I have used white card to make the half fold, then Crafters Companion Create a Card Diecut to cut into the front of the card as well as into the back patterned paper.  The Patterned Papers are Crafters Companion Sara Davies Signature Collection Floral Delight, I have used the cut out bits as much as possible to make the flowers as well as butterflies which are also Crafters Companion, the Leaves Diecuts are Crafters Companion too but using Bazzill Basics Fern card stock, all cut with the Gemini.  The sentiments rubber stamp is also Crafters Companion, I have added Tim Holtz Distress Milled Lavendar ink to the front and gem stones to the flowers as well as butterflies.

I thought I would try out another style adapting the previous card to see what I could come up with using a 5 x 7 white card. For this I have used the Gemini to craft some flowers and leaves using Sara Davies Flowers Diecuts, Sara Davies Leaves Diecuts, the card stock is Bazzill Basics Quartz, Coredinations Tim Holtz Distressed Forest Moss, Crafters Companion Floral Treats Patterned Papers, Sara Davies Background Diecut, Sara Davies Shabby Chic Cherished Moments Sentiments Diecut and Rubber Stamp Collection, Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridescent and some gem stones.

Pixie Dust Flowers

Hello Folks,

This is my first card on this blogsite, a totally different style for me, one which was inspired by another crafter as I am trying out new things.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Bazzill Basics Pixie Dust card stock, Bazzill Basics Fern card stock, Gemini, Sarah Davies Flowers Diecuts, Sara Davies Diecuts and Sentiments Stamp Set, Sara Davies Background Diecut, various Leaves Diecuts, Gem Stones, Crafters Companion Spray n Sparkle Iridescent and Collal Glue.
