Summer Gardens

Hi Folks,

Today's card I have made for a Challenge in the Card Making and Paper Craft Magazine called Summer Garden.

The idea behind this was warm summer evenings the scent of the flowers rambling through lattice work with butterflies dancing around.  I have used White card stock to make the base Rectangle Frame Card, Centura Pearl Fresh White card stock, Gemini, Spectrum Noir Ink Pads Pink Tulip, Plum Jam, Pale Fig, Damson Wine, Pine Tree, Gemini Twinkling Trellis Create A Card Die, Gemini Dimensionals 6inch & 8 inch Dies, Crafters Companion Patterned Paper Floral Treats, Crafters Companion Sub Box Leaves Die, Crafters Companion Sub Box Scalloped Circles & Circles Dies, Sara Davies Butterfly Collection Flit & Flutter Dies, Sara Davies English Country Garden Grand Floral Die, Sara Davies Floral Delight Pretty Petals Dies, Sara Davies Parisian Collection Ooh La La Sentiment Die, Pretty Peonies Leaf Die, 3D Foam Pads, Collall Glue and Gem Stones.  

Ornate Gates

Well I've been trying out something different, for this card I saw this lovely diecut which reminded me of ornate gates for old manors with beautiful flowers rambling over the walls and gateway, it gave me the idea of trying it out for a card.

Blossoming Rose

I thought I would try another idea as well as try out these new flower diecuts and was aiming to keep it very delicate.

I have used a Rectangle White Card, Centura Pearl Fresh White Card Stock, Gemini, Crafters Companion Cut & Emboss Blossoming Rose Folder, Crafters Companion Sub Boxes Sentiment Rubber Stamp, Flower Diecuts, Embossing Powder, Natures Garden Peony Collection Flourishing Vines Diecuts, Sara Davies Butterfly Lullaby Collection Flit & Flutter Diecut, Gem Stones, Spectrum Noir Ink Pads Pale Fig, Damson Wine, Pine Tree, Noir Black and Collall 3D Glue.

Oceans of Happiness

Hello Folks,

Yesterday I thought I would make a nice, simple male card, oh yes its something I find hard to do this less is more, I don't know why, I just do but I'm quite pleased how it turned out in the end after giving me so much trouble.

I have used a White Rectangle Card, Centura Pearl Fresh White Card Stock, Spectrum Noir Ink Pads and Pens, Gemini, Spellbinders Oval Diecut, Sara Davies Nautical Collection for the Embossing Folder, Anchor Diecut as well as the rubber stamped lighthouse and sentiments.
